EXPLORE

The Food Culture Project (FCP) is a food literacy hub that connects curious learners with experts in food. We create multi-sensory events, food literacy programs, and educational curricula for all ages. The project aims to increase sensitivity for the culture surrounding food production, consumption, and eating habits by focusing on local practices within a global context.

WHAT WE OFFER

EXPERIENCES
EXPERIENCING THE WORLD OF FOOD OPENS THE WORLD TO US!

We create multi-sensory dining experiences, that build communities and meaningful, lasting exchange, dialogue and shared knowledge. This can take place in private homes, or smaller public spaces anywhere in the world.

As your host, myself or invited chefs or food artists, create and serve either a dinner, luncheon, or brunch. Whichever it is, it will be self-cooked with high quality produce.

KID'S PROGRAMS
FUN - LEARNING THROUGH PLAYING

Yes, with us, it's allowed to play with food!  Our kid's programs are based on interdisciplinary learning with tons of fun.  We not only discover how fast of slow a sourdough yeast develops, but also create art, writing and research projects, all practicing team participation skills.

Multi-sensory learning is one of the best ways to enhance critical thinking skills,  self awareness and mindfulness.
